Program Manager - San Rafael
Private non-profit agency seeks qualified and experienced Program Manager for residential substance abuse treatment program serving adults in Marin County. The educational requirements for the position include: MA in a relevant field (counseling, psychology, etc.) AND a Substance Abuse Counseling Certification from a State of California Accredited Institution plus a minimum of two years experience supervising counseling and support staff in a licensed/ certified residential substance abuse treatment program for adults; or a BA in a relevant field AND a Substance Abuse Counseling Certification plus a minimum of five years experience supervising counseling and support staff in a Licensed/certified residential treatment program.
The requirements for the position include, but are not limited to the following: Substance Abuse Counseling Certification from a State of California Accredited Institution preferred; Demonstrated experience providing substance abuse treatment services with criminal justice populations is necessary; Experience with substance abuse treatment models and an understanding of treatment modalities; Knowledge of community resources and services is preferred; Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record. Must be able to pass criminal justice clearance.
Experience securing the licensure and certification of treatment programs and facilities and maintaining the regulatory oversight of residential and outpatient facilities. The ideal candidate will possess, at minimum, the following qualifications:Experience with substance abuse treatment models and theories and an understanding of various treatment modalities;Experience with Therapeutic Community treatment, cognitive behavioral counseling strategies, motivational interviewing, behavioral interventions, family dynamics, and family systems; Experience providing substance abuse treatment services with Criminal Justice populations, homeless individuals, and other critical and at-risk populations; Experience conducting screenings and assessments; individual, group, and family counseling; developing treatment plans; creating and maintaining client charts in compliance with CA licensing and regulatory agencies; and facilitating relapse prevention and continuing care services; Experience conducting Quality Assurance and Utilization Review of program services and client care;Experience with data collection, statistical analysis, and narrative report writing; Experience securing licensure and certification and maintaining program licensure and certification standards.Previous experience in staff supervision, quality assurance activities, providing clinical direction, and designing therapeutic interventions is required.

Primary Care Clinic Administrator
Innovative, private non-profit behavioral health agency, with headquarters in Marin County, in the process of integrating services with an established community medical clinic, seeks an experienced Primary Care Clinic Administrator. Primary responsibilities will include: development of formal operating and procedural manuals; policies and protocols that address fiscal management, admissions, referrals, case management and communication pathways; establishing Memorandum of Understanding and Qualified Services Organizations/Business Associate Agreements; developing and submitting licensing, certification, regulatory and other relevant and required applications and; acting as the primary liaison between the two agencies in the development of the collaborative partnership.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a primary care clinic administrator including demonstrated experience writing operating and procedural manuals; familiarity with HIPAA, 42 CFR, Part 2; understanding of current Federal healthcare reform and parity legislation; full understanding of current legal and regulatory standards governing community clinics, including FQHC and “look-alikes” and; experience working with national accreditation models such as Joint Commission and CARF. The clinic administrator must have experience with Medi-Cal, third-party and insurance billing and treatment protocols; ICD9 and CPT procedures and codes and; utilization review and continuous quality improvement protocols.

Experience working with a criminal justice involved substance abusing client population is required; experience with at-risk populations, including low-income individuals, socio-economic and ethnic minorities, and single female heads of households is preferred. The Job Developer must have experience conducting assessments of client interests, aptitudes, and skills; developing action plans for participants; developing and maintaining employer contacts and relationships; and participating in data collection and data analysis. The Job Developer will also be expected to participate in developing narrative reports of program successes.

Case Managers – Bay Area
Case Managers: Non-profit social service agency based in Marin County seeks experienced and qualified Case Managers for a Bay Area Services Network. Case Managers will conduct screening and assessment interviews, make referrals for placement in substance abuse treatment, and provide follow-up services, including coordinating community services, developing employment and housing resources, maintaining participant files and documentation of services, collecting and analyzing participant data, conducting compliance visits with treatment providers, and engaging in ongoing communication with program participants, treatment staff, and parole agents of record. Positions are available in offices throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
The requirements for the position include, but are not limited to the following:
BA in health or social sciences (counseling, psychology, sociology, etc) AND at least one year experience working with criminal justice populations; OR High School Diploma or GED AND Substance Abuse Counseling Certification from a State of California Accredited Institution AND at least two years experience working with criminal justice populations;
Experience addressing substance abuse and criminal justice populations (state parole and probation) is necessary;
Experience with substance abuse treatment models and an understanding of treatment modalities is expected;
Knowledge of community resources and services is preferred;
Must be able to obtain and maintain a California Department of Corrections security clearance;
Must possess a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record.

Part-Time Payroll Clerk
Part Time position for dynamic social service agency located in San Rafael. Hours would fluctuate between payroll periods, Pay dates are on 10th and 25th and would require at least 20 hours during these pay periods. Position could hold more hours if the right person has experience in HR but not necessary to apply. Duties include payroll two times a month, recording paid time off accruals, maintenance of payroll records
Minimum requirements for position include a BA or AA degree, three years experience with payroll (preferable ADP).
Must have very good computer skills and excellent organizational skills.
