Oklahoma City Men’s Project

Oklahoma City, OK: Center Point has provided residential treatment services in Oklahoma City, since 2005 The Oklahoma City Program, a contractual collaboration with the Oklahoma Department of Corrections, is a 200 bed therapeutic community model correctional facility for adult men. The program provides a full complement of substance abuse treatment and cognitive behavioral therapy with a specialized focus on successful community reintegration, including work release.

 

Osage Work Release Program

The Osage Program located in Osage County, in the Tulsa Area provides both a Work Release and a Prison Public Work Program for up to 100 men referred by the Department of Corrections. Participants work during the day and receive vocational services, life skills training, case management and transition planning in preparation for re-entry to community life.

 

Tulsa Women’s Program

Tulsa, OK: The Tulsa Women’s program, operating since 2007, provides substance abuse treatment, skills training, domestic violence prevention, trauma recovery, parent-child reunification, vocational preparation, money management, relapse prevention, discharge planning and referral to medical and mental health services. The program is modeled after Center Point’s very successful women and children’s program in California which was initially developed as a federal demonstration project. The Tulsa therapeutic community utilizes a cognitive-behavioral approach in addition to an evidence based curriculum which is provided within a gender responsive, culturally sensitive environment. Preparation for re-entry to the community and self-sufficiency includes a modified work release component in the last stage of the rehabilitation process.

Parenting skills training and child development education prepare women for positive and nurturing mother child interactions. The children of parenting women are often reunited with their mother and receive specialized services and referrals to ancillary resources.
