Dr. Rod Taylor Scholarship 2026

Effort: Working hard in order to achieve a goal worth reaching. Putting out the necessary energy
to get what I really want. Effort plus initiative adds up to success in the end.

Center Point is pleased to announce a scholarship opportunity for Center Point Graduates and Staff Members.

Two scholarships will be awarded to active Alumni, Graduates in good standing, and/or Center Point Staff.

A total of two $1500.00 scholarship will be given out, under the following categories:

  1. Center Point Alumni, Graduate in good standing
  2. Center Point Staff Member enrolled in an AOD Certification Program, or a college.

The Application deadline is July 6, 2026. Awards will be announced on August 2, 2026, during the Center Point Annual Graduation.

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA

  • Applicants must be Center Point Alumni, graduates in good standing, or Center Point Staff
    Member.
  • Applicants must complete and submit the scholarship application by July 6, 2026
  • Applicant must have 6 units completed in the last 12 months of the submission of the application.
  • Applicant must have a minimum of 2.5 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).
  • Applicant need to submit a 500 word essay on the obstacles the applicant has overcame in the
    quest to reach his/her personal academic goals.
  • A biographical statement that includes your educational background, your Center Point
    experience, a statement of goals and objectives for obtaining a college degree or technical
    certification and other pertinent information (250 or fewer words). Include a face picture.
  • A copy of your transcript from the college or university in which you are currently enrolled.
